 Professional QualificationsI am a fully qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist, accredited by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and registered with the BPS (British Psychological Society). I am committed to, and bound by, the BACP Code of Conduct. I have 10 years experience of working in Mental Health settings. In Italy, I worked as Clinical Psychologist in a Mental Health Department. In London, I have been Head of Therapy Services in a therapeutic community for people experiencing severe mental health problems. I have also been collaborating with SW London and St. George's Mental Health NHS Trust for the past five years as psychotherapist in an out-patient Psychotherapy Department. I have taught courses for Therapuetic Community Practitioners, Middlesex University. I conduct staff groups and training days for multiprofessional teams. I have presented papers at conferences both in Italy and in London. I am dedicated towards Continuing Professional Development and attend regular Supervision. I also offer Counselling and Psychotherapy sessions in Italian. My Personal Approach As an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I am able to draw from different techniques in order to meet your needs in the most appropriate way. Approaches I employ include; I offer a confidential and secure space that through regular meetings will enable us to build and establish the working relatinship. This space offers the opportunity to talk through issues and concerns openly, identifying in this way problems and difficulties that stop you from living your life to a full potential.
